How to add a little sexy to your wardrobe.
I’ve always loved the concept of fishnets, but could never wear them in public for fear of “giving the wrong impression” as a classy lady when coordinating my looks. Rolling into our twenties and thirties are we too old for fishnets? No! You’re never too old for sexy it’s just we need to be cautious when dealing with very sexy fashion accents. I finally grew tired of having these sexy things piled high in my closet, so I experimented in finding great ways to wear them.
Colors and style designs
There are many colors you can find to match your wardrobe, but there are also different designs. If you’re looking for a more reserved look, I recommend starting with the smallest fishnet print possible. This will make them look more like solid tights and less noticeable. My all time favorite are fishnets with a single line. These are super sexy for a date night and can make your legs look slim and long. For more spunk in the wardrobe adding colors can spice up a rather monochrome outfit adding the pop you need to catch people’s eyes.
Start small and subtle with ankle socks
If your not comfortable with your legs covered in fishnet how about just to the ankles. Not only can these last forever they are a great way to spice up your outfit without drawing too much attention. It can go great with tennis shoes, but can also look great in winter with boots or even pumps for a sporty look. The combinations are endless and add great texture to your overall look.
How to wear the full length fishnets
For a more casual look full length are great at peeking out under your clothes. I prefer the smaller print nets under my jeans for a collected look. Showing less is more when it comes to these tights. Think of ways they can “peak out” from your clothes, by keeping your skirts and dresses longer in length. Wearing high boots and a long skirt showing only a small bit of the netted thighs can be all you need. It makes you feel sexy, but still conservative. If tights aren’t your thing, fishnet print can also be incorporated in other clothes such as jackets and undershirts.
