Toning Lotion
VC lotion is a water based lotion/toner used for quick absorption and light hydration to the skin without leaving a sticky after effect. Vitamin C is known for softening the skin and lightening pigmentations such as dark spots, aging spots, and acne scars.
How to use*
After cleansing the skin apply a small amount to the body and face. Lightly pat for quick absorption. Apply one to two times for extra hydration.
Pros
– Absorbs quickly into the skin
– Won’t damage or stain your clothes
– Easy and fast application
– Not sticky, slippery, or slimy like regular lotions
– Mild citrus scent
Cons
– Doesn’t contain actual Vitamin C, but contains synthetic versions of the vitamin
– Doesn’t reduce any appearance of dark spots or acne scars
– Mild hydration
Product Results
For a toner based lotion this product wasn’t too bad for a quick application on a hot summer day. I probably won’t be buying it again because I like my lotions to be super hydrating. After applying the lotion its hydration only lasted for an hour or so before my skin went back to its prior state. Also, the use of synthetic vitamins means it won’t give you the benefits natural vitamins have. Personally, I prefer more safe naturally based products to keep my skin moisturized. Goodbye VC lotion onto the next!
