~Chapter 1~ Wicked Trends – Women’s edition

In the darkness, goths rule the nightworld so it’s time to shine some light on the newest trends and dust the webs off our inner goths. In this series of chapters, I will be exploring the emergence of the latest trends in fashion’s underworld.

I’ve always wanted to dress in a gothic wardrobe fulltime but as I grow older the demands of the workplace require a much more modest approach to fashion and everyday life just doesn’t allow it as often.

So here’s my approach to the latest gothic trends that you can wear at work, in public, and even abroad. Dress how you want to dress. Gothic trends are emerging more elegant and mysterious than before and it’s time to add some new styles into the mix.

Unveiled Beauty of the Sheer Dress

A sheer dress is a must have in your wardrobe of darkdom. Not limited to the colors of black there are prints, colors, and styles to this wardrobe that are flexible to so many every day looks. Not a fan of wearing dresses? It’s easy to throw over your best pants, shirts, even a swimsuit because it’s so versatile. Let’s take a look!

Liking them already? How about adding some deep dreamy roses? Or play with some color underneath it all. I love nature and so adding it to my wardrobe gives it a feminine softness, but still lets the darkness reign.

My absolute favorite are these stars and moon shapes they are just magical and give the dress a little extra personality. You can match your accessories and shoes to the colors and it feels so witchy.

The reversal goth. If you have a soulmate or a sister sometimes it’s fun to dress in opposites. Like a bad goth gone good, a sheer white dress is a sure way to express this fashion statement. It’s also a good way to highlight your accessories or dark makeup. Since my hair is blonde, I find the look almost angelic with a dark twist especially when adding red jewelry and black layers.
