~Chapter 2~ Daring Denim – DIY edition
In the darkness, goths rule the nightworld so it’s time to shine some light on the newest trends and dust the webs off our inner goths. In this series of chapters, I will be exploring the emergence of the latest trends in fashion’s underworld.
I’ve always wanted to dress in a gothic wardrobe fulltime but as I grow older the demands of the workplace require a much more modest approach to fashion and everyday life just doesn’t allow it as often.
So here’s my approach to the latest gothic trends that you can wear at work, in public, and even abroad. Dress how you want to dress. Gothic trends are emerging more elegant and mysterious than before and it’s time to add some new styles into the mix.
Acid hot denim

Who said denim isn’t for goths. I love denim and you know those faded black ones. It’s time to revamp them into something a little more modern and interesting. So grab all your black denim and lets dip them in acid and see what happens.
There are many DIY’s on google and youtube for how to safely bleach your denim. Not a fan of white and black? You can easily buy fabric dyes of blood red or any other wild color your desire. Not only can the colors be altered but so can the patterns you create and the level of contrast.

Once you’ve made your new creation it’s time to figure out how to style them. Anything denim can be altered including jackets, bags, shirts, even hair accessories. This technique is not limited to just denim. Other materials like your shirts, dresses, and even shoes can be changed using bleach.
