The Base Zero Base Foundation ~ Japanese product review

Secret Skin Maker Zero Foundation by Kate

A medium weight tinted base foundation used to give you coverage before applying foundations and powders. It smooths out gaping pores and fine wrinkles for an even skin texture.

How to use*

Apply a small amount of foundation on clean moisturized skin. Blend and add small amounts until the amount of coverage needed is reached.

Pros

~ Natural coverage and color for pale skin

~ White undertones not pink, yellow, or orange

~ Lasts all day with little maintenance

~ Finally a pale color that is actually pale

~ Covers gaping pores and imperfections with medium coverage

Cons

~ Caused a few small clogged pores

~ Super drying to the skin. And I mean SUPER drying

Product Results

I absolutely loved the color of this foundation for my pale skin. It looked milky white and had a healthy tone. Although the color was right for me the only problem with this foundation is that it was super drying. It took away all the oil from my oily skin throughout the day. When I washed it off it left my skin dry and old looking because it was dehydrating instead of moisturizing. Also the longer I wore the foundation the more it settled into my fine line wrinkles making me look older and older. I didn’t feel like this product was beneficial or healthy for my skin. Goodbye Kate!
