How to use*
After cleansing face (and after a hot shower is best) apply the mask and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. Take off and massage the remaining gel into the skin. Reserve excess to use as a lotion for the next day or use on your neck and shoulders.
Pros
~ Provides deep moisture when using
~ Alcohol content isn’t strong
~ Leaves the skin cool and soothed
~ Contains royal jelly used for antiaging and hydration
~ A lot of leftover product in one packet
Cons
~ No visible difference between firming and moisturizing type masks except their ingredients
~ Skin didn’t appear more firm after using the “firm” variety, but it was well moisturized
Product Results
Out of all the masks I’ve tried so far in Japan I’ve found these have the most product inside, the least alcohol, and provide a good moisture base for my skin. I don’t think there is much difference between the firming and moisturizing type or at least nothing I could tell from just by looking at the results of my skin. Maybe the firming effects are better seen after using the masks often for a year or two. They still have the infamous higher alcohol content than Korean masks so I will add these to my beauty routine for now until I find an even better mask in Japan.
