How to use*
After cleansing the skin roll the stone over its surface in even tender strokes for a facial massage. Massage for 5-10 minutes in sweeping motions daily. It can be used with oils and creams for a smoother massage just be sure to sterilize the tool afterwards and dry it so the metal doesn’t rust inside. The small side is best used for under the eyes and more sensitive areas while the large side is great for jaw, cheeks, and forehead.

Now I know there are many contradictions about whether this product is magical because of the healing properties of rose quarts since ancient times. I don’t believe in that, but I do believe in science. Quarts crystals in general are known to react with the energy of ions. They are like a magnet for these ions and pick them up easily. Unlike other stones these tend to attract the ions around them more than the others. The ions are also found in your skin (think of them like small electrical currents). The crystal picks up the excess ions off of your skin (much like acupuncture) helping your skin to relax. The cooling affects of the stone are also a benefit to the skin by naturally easing inflammation (much like an ice pack on an injury would do) after rolling the crystal onto your skin it then begins to heat up the ions and the stone becomes warm (much like a heat pack for injuries) heating up the body then aids the cells in restoration. I don’t know about you, but rose quarts is beautiful and just looking at it makes me relax. There is also the movement of massage itself which redistributes old fluids under your skin and brings in new blood for better circulation. Your hands could easily do the same thing as this tool. I bought this because sometimes my hands are just too tired to do the job. Don’t spend crazy amounts of money for this tool, but if you can find it decently priced or a tool of the same capabilities its worth purchasing if you just want a quick relaxation at work or in the car even when watching TV. I don’t recommend buy a plastic alternative as they break more easily, can store bacteria in their crevices, and don’t pick up the ions on your skin.
