This is probably the worst hair oil I’ve ever bought. I’m giving it half a star for the nice bottle design, but that’s it. I’m not sure if I just bought a spoiled one when the rest are fabulous, but this particular one smelt and felt like rancid cooking oil. Since it’s a natural oil they should provide an expiration date on this product when it’s sold. I asked my boyfriend to close his eyes and smell it before showing him what it was and he also guessed cooking oil. It was like putting vegetable oil in my hair and weighed it down leaving only greasy strands behind. It did wash out nicely though compared to oil hair treatments. Not sure if I want my hair smelling like a fast food restaurant though. This product in no way is meant for thin fine hair. Perhaps super thick and dry hair it would work best. Luckily it still works well as an overnight warm oil hair treatment, but its properties are the same as any other hair oil for this type of treatment. Goodbye Camellia (Tsubaki) hair oil and onto the next.
