Bergamot and Verbena Moisturizing Mask ~ Japanese/Korean product review

Moisturizing essence mask by Botanist

A moisturizing mask with the natural oils of bergamot and verbena to balance the skin’s moisture levels and sooth dry skin.

How to use*

Cleanse face before using. Apply the paper mask and remove after 10-20 minutes. Pat skin to absorb the extra moisture and use the remaining liquid in the pouch for your neck and arms.

Pros

~ Gentle moisture lotion that is clear, thin and silky

~ Doesn’t clog pores or cause acne

~ Great for sensitive skin

~ Contains a nice blend of essentia oils for your skin’s health

~ Has a fair amount of product inside

Cons

~ Alcohol base is a little bit high. Not drying but still more of a toner type mask than deep moisturizing

I’ve tried many kinds of face masks and this one is pretty decent in Japan. Even though it’s sold in Japan, it’s actually manufactured in Korea. The moisturizing liquid was thin and clear so this mask only moisturized my skin a little bit. I recommend this for oily to normal skin, but if you skin is dry you should try a more heavy moisture mask for better results. I prefer a heavy creamy moisture compared to this one, but its still good for a simple moisture mask.
