Skin peeling foot treatment
A chemical foot peel that soaks into the outer layer of your callous. It loosens the skin and peels away painlessly leaving your feet smooth and callous free.
(Product 1: by EVERYYOU Doshisha soap scent, Silver ion AG+, Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen Foot Mask) (700 yen/ about $7)
(Product 2: (900 yen/ about $9)
Please note! All products that I review are bought at affordable prices. I’ve noticed online that some stores are selling these products for over $100. Don’t buy it! Just as an example, these foot masks cost about $7 in Japan. Recently online stores are becoming more unethical in their prices so please don’t fall victim to such prices. To prevent such a scandal I’ll now being placing an estimate pricing on all the products I review for your benefit.
How to use*
Wash feet and pat dry. Open sock packages and put them on your feet. Let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour (depends on package instructions but these ones I let sit for an hour). Wash off liquid and throw away socks. Don’t save the product! Wait 3-7 days before feet start to peel. To speed the process take a shower and lightly use a pumice stone or towel to wipe off shedding skin.
Pros
~ Removes outer layers of callous from all parts of the foot
~ Saves time not using a pumice stone
~ Absolutely smooth feet in about 7 days
Cons
~ Skin peels off so it can get messy in your shoes, socks, and just about everywhere else
~ If you don’t have a thick callous buildup the product won’t work well because there isn’t much to peel off
~ Sometimes takes awhile to start peeling
~ Not sure if its safe to have such chemicals soaking on your feet
Product Results
I really love these products and I’ve had no skin trouble or felt any pain with them. They took away my callous as promised and left my feet super smooth. I will admit peeling away my skin was quite interesting too making me feel like a snake shedding its skin. That being said, since it is a chemical type treatment I can’t guarantee the safety of such things hence minus half a star. There were no immediate damages to my skin but if used overtime continually I’m not sure what would happen. I would recommend using this product no more than once a year just to be safe. Otherwise a pumice stone is more work but also a lot safer to use.
