How to use*
Apply throughout the day on lips as necessary to keep them hydrated. Can be used with other lip cosmetics.
Pros
~ All of the products kept my lips well hydrated
~ Contains SPF so your lips don’t burn in the sun
~ Prevented cracks and tears on the skin
~ Don’t have to reapply often (every few hours for severely damaged lips)
~ Great scent and comes with non-scented types
~ Glides on easily and doesn’t cake up
~ When heated up it doesn’t melt, but it does crumble into large chunks when pushed on (not sure if this is a Pro or Con)
Cons
~ Does contain a lot of lab grade chemicals and very few natural ingredients
~ Contains alcohol which can cause lips to be drier than before (this wasn’t the case for me though)
~ Lid can crack and break if dropped, but is still sturdier than most tube lip balms

This line of lip balm was recommended by all my friends in Japan and so I just had to try it and a few types just to be sure which one would work best. Out of every lip balm I’ve tried I must say these are hands down the best so far. My lips are always dry and peel especially during cold winter days and these saved my lips. I use them often, but the downside is they are mostly made from chemicals. I have to wonder about the long-term effects of such chemicals being put on the skin and consumed on a daily basis. It can’t be good for our health. If they had a more natural line of this product, I would definitely buy it again. Lip balm’s ingredients don’t have to be so complicated.
I did buy a few variations to see if there was a difference between any of them. Besides the price, quantity, and scent the ingredients were pretty much the same. While some are infused with specific oils, the ingredient is towards the bottom of the list so it will most likely not have any effects for the skin’s health. A wonderful tip when shopping for specifically oil infused products: if it’s not towards the top of the list (around the 5th ingredient or so) then it’s not worth the extra money. I’ll be keeping this lip balm on me until I can find a more natural based one! Let me know of your recommended lip balm and I’d love to try it too!
Please note! All products that I review are bought at affordable prices. I’ve noticed online that some stores are selling these products for over $100. Don’t buy it! Recently stores both online and in person are becoming more unethical in their prices so please don’t fall victim to their false practices. To prevent such a scandal, I’ll now being placing an estimate pricing on all the products I review for your benefit.
